It's lovely when we meet up with friends or other female family members and acquaintances and spend a few hours together doing something social or just meeting up for coffee or dinner. But how does the conversation go?
Is it all fun and laughter or do you find that a big portion of the meet up is talking about what isn't working in your life and talking about each other's problems?
This is when the energy changes and although it is good to be a support to each other in times of need, how much of the time has been spent talking about what isn't working in your life, so you begin to attract more of the same crap.
You have to be very careful of this. I have often observed and experienced that when we say everything is going well when being asked how we are, the conversation starts to die and you find instead of spending the time talking about all the good things that are happening, it goes quiet! Which is a big shame.
What you focus on, what you talk about and what you think about for a period of time can have a huge impact on the outcome of your life. This is easily forgotten when we socialise and out comes all the 'poor me' talk.
So how about giving all that a miss the next time you meet up with the ladies. Just talk about all the good things going on in your life or if this is a struggle, talk about the things you are aiming for in life and your plans in making them happen.
Try not to come off this topic but stay with that vibe and you will notice that your energy will feel a lot more positive and uplifted from the whole experience. At first, this will feel quite alien to both of you, but with persistence, you will all benefit from it.
You will also notice who are your negative unsupportive friends and who are your supportive positive friends. The more positive friends you have in your life, the better it is for you.
It is better to have friends who rejoice in your happiness than who want to wallow in your sadness. That is never doing either of you any good.
Socialising should be fun and a happy vibe should be created by the whole experience.
Life should be one amazing and uplifting experience, so make your connections with your friends an amazing positive experience.
You'll feel a whole lot better for it.
Until next time
Peace and Blessings
